Rachelle Greer

My name is Rachelle Greer and I am from Greenville, South Carolina in America. As the daughter of two professional opera singers music has always been a huge part of my life. While my father traveled to and from Europe my mother took a position as head of the vocal department at a local University and much of my adolescence was spent exploring the Fine Arts – drama, music, and various forms of art on a University Campus.

In 2009, I graduated with my own Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance and in September of that year I was on an airplane to Dubai. For two and a half years, I worked at a music center teaching private voice and beginning piano lessons as well as teaching a developmental music program for very small children. It was there that I fell in love with the Early Years. It was so exciting to me how much these small children could absorb, learn, and exceed expectations. In 2010, I obtained my own certificate in the Kindermusik method where I studied the stages of children aged 6 months to 7 years. In 2012, I was introduced to a NY themed play center called Appleseeds where I taught classes ranging from cooking to gym until 2016.

My background in the performing arts and love for children and learning makes the Bright Minds Institute the perfect fit for me. I am thrilled to be part of the team and look forward to being amazed by the capability of little bright minds!
